Sunday School
The Sunday School of Mor Gregorios Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Whangarei, plays a vital role in nurturing the faith and spiritual growth of the parish’s younger generation. Under the dedicated leadership of Sunday School Coordinator Gigi Bino, the program provides children with a strong foundation in the teachings of the Holy Bible, the traditions of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, and the values of Christian living. Classes are conducted in an engaging and interactive manner, combining lessons, songs, activities, and discussions to inspire a love for God and the Church. Through the commitment of the teachers and the active participation of the students, the Sunday School continues to be a joyful and enriching ministry, shaping the future of the parish with faith, knowledge, and fellowship. Special emphasis is placed on instilling strong Christian values that guide the students in their daily lives. The program also fosters a deep understanding and love for the faith and heritage of the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church.
Church Choir
The Choir of Mor Gregorios Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Whangarei, is an integral part of the parish’s worship life, uplifting the congregation through heartfelt hymns and melodious praise.
